Just bought a '68 satellite. Its got a 440 500 hp. 2500 stall and shift kit. Body is real straight and interior is great. Hardly any rust whatsoever. I am wanting to clone it but not sure if i should clone it into a roadrunner or gtx and looking for suggestions. I have all the chrome stripping off so far, just not sure what else needs to be done when its time to clone it.?? any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, not sure if the gtx's were based off the satellites and roadrunners off the belvederes?? Is there any good manuals or books out there to show the decals and where they were put on?

The belvederes were the base model cars for the plymouth B body all other models were trim packs. It would be easy to clone a roadrunner as they were a bare bones muscle car with no frills. Your 440 would not match as 68's only came with 383/426 engine options. The GTX was an up scale car that was available with many options including the 440 super camando. Year one would have trim parts and phoenix graphix would have the decal kits. The satellite is a respectable ride, as any B body car these days turns heads, I had a 1970 roadrunner 440 and traded it for a 69 charger rt/se. Hope this helps, good luck with your project.
