I am looking for a dakota extended cab to put my 360 LA motor into. What year was the the last for LA motors in dakotas and what would I need to do if it came with a MAGNUM motor in later years? Would I need to change tranies or torgue converters if it came with a MAGNUM motor?

91 was the last year of the LA not sure on the mounts of the 88-91 but in the magnums you would have to get diffrent mounts like the ones from www.engine-swap.com everything else is about the same as far as the tranny up to 95 you can use with a simple modification that i have explained on other post and have pics and descriptions on how to do If anyone needs these feel free to email me drconkle@hotmail.com the 96 up 46re and 42re can be used on a carb engine as well but need the valve body swapped out
