Tach question

Hi,
I've installed after market tach's to older Chevy's before but I could really use one on my Volare. How would I go about wiring one up? I hope it's as simple as on a chevy, with them it's power/ground/tach signal wire off of the dist.
Any help is appreciated,

Really? So it hooks up the exact same? I'd like to install one next week.
