Howdy,
I have a 76 Volare that's in need of a new carb. I am planning a 360 swap when it's time for a rebuild, it currently has a 318 in it. I think that some of the fault may be in the electrical stuff that controls the idle etc.
I've never done a full carb swap like this before, so I'd like to keep it simple as far as vaccum connections and a mechanical clutch install.
Thanks for any help,
Jason

Mechanical clutch? do you mean mechanical choke, if you want simple, then go to your local parts store and order a stock rebuilt carb. If you want performance then install a new 4 barrel intake if you currently have a two barrel set up, then install a holley 4 barrel, a 650 DP would work well on the 360, not so great on the 318.
