i have a 79 318 bored thirty over I put flowtech headers ran true duals edelbrock LD4B intake edelbrock 1405 600cfm intake for what it is, it's suprisingly powerful but I want to open it up more with a cam.  I was thinking comp cams extreme 268 kit but I don't know if the stock valve springs will handle the pressure whatever cam I choose I want people around me to know my motor is not stock I love to hear an engine lope please inform me on this. thanks

What compression are you running, and what cam are using right now?
