Im in the middle of building 408 with hopes of putting a blower on top someday. I was wondering if it would be possible to build a streetable motor now and not have to completely tear the motor back down when time comes for the blower? Any info would be helpful

Running a blower on an engine requires some good parts. And to really benefit from it, a fairly low compression ratio--relatively speaking. If you run good forged pistons, H-beam connecting rods, and a steel crankshaft with good bearings, you can get good life with a blower engine. Using those parts in a non-blown application is always good anyway. The kicker is to not get your compression ratio too high during the initial build, or your blower may not do you any substantial good when you install it.

Since you're planning to install a blower later, I would limit the compression ratio to no more than 8.0:1 when you build it. The engine may not seem to have as much power as you think it should right now, but the lower compression ratio will make it come to life when you finally add the blower.
