The wife and I are thinking of trading our beloved B250 conversion van for something "smaller"... She wants a car but I have her convinced on either a quad cab Dakota or even a Durango... I do need a "truck" for towing capabilities, but I'm also looking for something that, I guess sort of rides like a car (if that makes any sense)... I like the older body style of the Durango/Dakota, but we dont want alot of mileage.... Just seems like the grille to a newer dakota/durango also fits caliber, avenger, magnum, charger, etc, etc.... Besides neither her or myself like the body lines on the dakota/durango.... My question is... If we can find a decent lower mileaged Durango or quad cab Dakota, whats the pros and cons on these particular vehicles??? I'd rather have a V8 and the 4.7L suits me just fine... I dont need 4wd as I live in Florida and I dont hunt... Besides we are both from the Great North and know how to drive in "foul weather" if need be!!! Was there a better year for these vehicles?? What do we look for in plain english??? Any info will be greatly appreciated...
