HI DAVE HERE, IAM WRITING BECAUSE I NEED HELP AND ADVICE. I HAVE A 1974 DODGE DART SPORT, I GOT THE ENGINE REBUILT BUT THE ONE MISTAKE I MADE WAS NOT CHANGING THE PISTONS. THE 318 ENGINE HAS THE EDDY 2176 MANIFOLD AND 600 EDDY CARB A COMP CAM 477/480 IAM ALSO RUNNING HEADERS.TO MAKE UP FOR THE STOCK PISTONS I WAS WONDERING IF I CAN RAISE THE COMPRESSION WITH A SET OF 60779 EDDY HEADS. WILL THIS HEADS WORK WELL ON A 318, ALSO CAN I OR SHOULD I UPGRADE THE CARB TO A 650 OR HIGHER. I PLAN TO INSTALL A STREET FIGHTER TORQUE 3000 CONVERTOR AND RUN 410 GEARS. ANY HELP AND ADVICE WILL BE GRATEFUL LATER DAVE

Won't raise it enough for the aluminum, you'll end up with drivability/gas mileage issues
Stock 318 heads open chamber are 60cc and 67' closed chamber @ 57cc
What are the eddy's?

You need at least 9.1 , You could have them milled

600 Carb will work fine for the cubes unless you have lots of gear and a big cam, of corse then you'd have 10.5+ comp...... And ask them to mill enough to get 9.5 if you can.
