I have a 71' 340 .30 over and it has a Forged crank Unknown brand-Eagle h-beam rods and currently forged dome slugs. I am planning on the Paxton kit for a bodies and would like to run 13-15 psi for street use and 1/8 mile track. I know the dome slugs wont work and need dished slugs. what brand should i use? and what other precautions should i use to make sure the motor lives for some time? Will end up using edelbrock alum. heads ported by hughes with unknown cam and carb at this time. I would like to see 650 hp at the crank. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks Travis
