Speedometer cable touching exhaust

Was there a clamp or a braket to hold the speedometer cable close to the floor of the car so it dont touch the exhaust? If not can you tell me exactly witch way the cable is suppose to go true.

Yes, if yours is missing you can make one quite easily by welding a small bracket to the floor, holding the speedo cable away from the exhaust.

Can I buy that braket somewere or I'm gona have do one. If I have to do one can see the OEM so I can reproduce it.

where is the speedo cable touching? on the exhaust manifold or the pipes under the car?

Your gonna have to make one. If you don't have access to a welder you can bolt a bracket in place.

I have every thing a need to make one but I really want to do it like the original and I want to weld it at the exact location. So please some body send me pics or tell me where to find the info. I have 2 restauration books and I dont know how much I search for pic on the net include Ebay + many years of mopar muscle magasine and I cant find.
