I found a '73 Duster. Complete car. Originally a slant 6, gold, white interior and white vinyl top. Now a 318 auto, blue, black interior and no vinyl top. Its in great shape. No major rust. The main thing wrong with it is it needs a new starter (or a rebuild). Owner drove it alot but put it away for winter. Whats it worth?

Thats a good question that will bring different opinions.
For instance I can buy a 70' duster slnt 6 running clean no rust for $1200 here in so cal.
Another instance is I just bought a gold 70' 340 4spd disc brake/sure grip/sport mirror/bucket seats/rally tach/ original duster for $3500 w/extra running 340, SO I would look around more before dropping $3000 on a 73 slnt/v8 car if I were you.
