My pickup is in desperate need of rewiring... It has been torn down for 2 years and I am just starting to get somewhere with it.
I am interested in finding out if anyone has used say (painless performance wiring setups, etc) to remedy the old beasts wiring problems. Is it worth it to pony up for the kit, mainly asking because I'm looking for a universal fuseblock and I can wire up the rest.
Any ideas or suggestions?? The truck will be 98% stock only thing I'm changing is the gauges, and the stereo location... Other than that, no modifications to the oem setup. I'm replacing the wiring because of shorts and pinched/cut/mag chloride eaten wiring etc... The original harnesses are just a pain in the a$$ to troubleshoot because there are so many problems, not to mention they are 32 years old.

Wow, nobody has used aftermarket wiring kits/fuseblocks... that's amazing, and on a mid seventies Chrysler product... We all know the wiring designs left a little (err a lot) to be desired.

I rewired the my whole car and only reused the fuse block[no more bulk head] and installed relays and head light amplifier. But I have never used a painless kit or any thing similar, I just buy wire.
age is no lock on brillance
