ok mopar fans heres a few questions though im sure theyve been asked before... ive got a 70' swinger im working on. its an origonal slat 6 car that was upgraded sloppily to a 318 by the guy i purchased the car from. i plan on breathing more life into it with a 408. my questions are what types of upgrades are good to do to the front end? i am also wanting to change the front drums out to disk what are good kits for a non power assisted system, or should i upgrade to a power assist? my goal is just a street car (mini tubed of course). something fun to drive around town and street race now and then. thanks.

Get 73' up disc brakes calipers & brackets, spindles, upper cntrl arms, prop valve, ect.
For the street 340 torsion bars for quick weight transfer slant 6 bars and front drag shocks or old front wasted shocks, sway bar with the end link bushings rounded/oval as to not bind the suspension when it lifts on take off.
I would frame connect it also. And definitely get a poly bushing kit.
If it is a luxury cruiser run power brakes, but I like the feel of manual disc.
Once you do this then you can tune it in and start checking geometry of the center link for bump steer and so forth.
If you are going to road race this thing around town and take corners at high speeds get some .920-.990 torsion bars.
