I currently have a 70 Satellite with a 318. I have a chance to get a 440 engine out of 76 RV home. What modifications if any need to be made to put this engine in my car. HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLp!!!!!  

Depends on your trans. You might have to get a beefier one to handle the power. As far as the engine, change the motor mounts as they will be different. you might have to rework the exhaust, the manifolds may line up different. I found a how to book on chrysler performance upgrades at my local speed shop. Try there web site cartechbooks.com. Hope you find what your looking for.  

cool project! first contact schumacher creative services. they have the kit needed to accept the 440 whithout changing the k member. the 318 tranny won't work. you need to find a tranny guy to put your parts into a big block case and maybe step it up a little to handle the big block power. and last, the 440 motorhome smogger motor is a poor choice, but it will due in a pinch if thats all you got. it will look better in the engine bay than that old 318.
