i was wondering how hard it would be to remove my vynil top and repaint to make a hardtop....joints at quarters need to be filled??...

i know rust will be a problem...hopefully not more than a hassle to remove it

The factory 1/4 seems will need work. Cars without Vinyl tops were leaded, Vinyl top cars were filled with something else. You will also have trim holes to fill.

i took out my vinyl top last year. it wasn't a problem, just fill the trim holes.
