I'm looking to buy a 68 Coronet. The car is in Texas and I'm from Jersey. The seller says that under hard acceleration the carb pops? Do you guys think this could just be a lean fuel mixture? He seems to think the carb just needs to be tuned up. I'm worried it might be more serious. I'm restoring a 69 RR now and don't want another resto.. Just something to drive in now. All your help is greatly appreciated Thank you.

Lean mixture, Accelerator pump most likely if afb.
