Ok guys this is my first mopar car. Me and my dad acquired a 1970 Plymouth Belvedere Station Wagon couple years ago for $1000. Its got a Slant 6 in it with a 3 on the tree transmission. Its a great cruiser we just want more power and make it a sleeper. To take to the track and the car shows around town. I was wondering what v8 engine would be the easiest to fit in with the least amount of problems. Would a 440 drop in? Any info would be great. Thanks.

To install a V8 in the Belvedere your going to need a V8 k member. Once you have done this you can install the larger motor. Motor mts. are available from Shumacher for several V8 swaps for this car including the torque monster 440.
