I just got a 73 challenger rally and am looking at shaving some weight. I'm keeping it street legal so I don't want to go all out but I was wondering it putting fiberglass panels on it will help it out. I found a fiberglass pin-on hood. If its a good idea, where can I find these parts? Thanks.

Ive had glass pin n hoods n street cars before. They are a pain. Fine for a race car but I wont use them on the street again. I bought some real nice fiberglass parts from AAR Quality fiberglass. Bolt on hood and trunk lid and a pair of bumpers.
age is no excuse for ignorance

U.S. body source has a great selection of parts for the e-body cars.

I need to take the chrome molding off of my windows and doors to complete body work and am not really sure how I know this may seem simple to some but beings how i have'nt removed trim before i would'nt want to bend or mess any of it up as i'm sure its exspensive to replace. I have been looking for answers and have'nt found any on the computer. I tend to mess up little breakable parts or parts that are easy to damage so i am putting off attempting to remove until i get at least some sort of idea where to start. thanks . My car is a 68 dodge dart
