Hi, 318 died and want to put 1975 440 BB and 727 tran into my '68 satellite.  What mounts for motor and tranny do I need to make the transformation.  Will the driveshaft be different?  Any help you can offer will be much appreciated.

You'ii need a sb k frame or motor swap brackets from schumaker.
The trans for a bb is gonne be longer than the 904 for the sb[unless 727 already you will need to shorten the drive line. trans mounts the same.  

Thanks for that info, next question is I can get my hands on a rebuilt short shaft 727(rv type), will that driveline still need to be shortened and will the trans mount be the same?
