Clifford performance parts make a 4 barrel intake and headers for the slant 6. I believe they also have cams for the mighty slant 6.
In the end you would benifit from taking the leap and installing a 340 or 360, and you won't spend much difference in price by the time you buy all the exotic performance parts for the slant 6.
Plus a 340/360 car will always have a better resale, and will hands down out power even a built slant 6, but it is your car so you decide.

I'll actually help, lets see how about 1.70-1.44 valves port work, mill .080 off the head,
get 198 connecting rods, 225 steel crank & block bored for 2.2 turbo pistons, clifford or penstar parts 4brl intake w/450-500 cfm carb, headers to a 2 1/4 exhaust, 999 gear set for your 904 auto w/2200 stall [if you have one] , 3.91 gears, .504  lift 276* 112cl solid cam from whoever you want to grind you one, and hey how about some cox bros roller rocker arms while your at it.
While almost nothing beats cubic inch you gotta love a lil motor that still hauls ass , gets better mileage than v8's, and lasts 180,000+ hot roded.

198 SLANT HAS BETTER CONNECTING RODS THAN 225SLANT?    DOES ANYBODY KNOWS IF I CAN GET OVER 225 OR 250HP OUT OF MY SLANT[SAFE HORSES] WHIT OUT BREAKING IT? I PLAN ON HAVING A NICE WEEKEND DRIVER NO TRACKS, DRAGS ,JUST A NICE CRUISER THAT STILL TURN HEADS, AND LESS TIME AR THE PUMPS.

Yes 230 hp is pretty obtainable and with out hurting it.
And yes 198 rods are better cause they are longer [increases dwell atdc so more cyl filling] and when hooked to 2.2turbo pistons will make 9.7 or so then with the head milled around 10.4 or so.
Well once you go past 268*dur on a slant you start to loose mileage but you should still see around 20-25 on the hwy.
CRUISER? then 3.55-3.73 and 268*cam.
Make sure weather you wanna really build one or just bolt a bunch of expensive parts to a next to stock 6 and get nothing out of it, kinda like the bearded hot rodder guy's [nothing against beards].

Holley makes two different 390 cfm 4 barrel carbs,  either 4160 series vac. secondaries, or for an all out race effort a 390 4150 series and it is a double pumper, gotta love it, this is the way I would go if your serious about making this thing move.
If you go with a real converter go with the 450 but this is probably pushing the limit on what the engine needs.

Don't need a fancy converter and 2200 is enough if the gears are right remember he basically said [be able to cruise /not a race car].
Go with either 500 eddy or 450 holley DP.

600 cfm is a long way from 390-500cfm, which your replies have recommended, but like I said, its your car.

If you can tune then you can make the 600 work but it's probably gonna have some small sec jets & the stiffest secondary spring known to man.lol
Really though if you go this route If I were you I would go and get the metering block conversion and change out that lame secondary metering plate, for jets are cheaper and easier to change. We can do further tuning once you get it up and running.
PS Just know that my first build as a young person was a hopped slant 6, I mean I made a baffled pan and crank scraper[ still have a crank scraper left and intake/headers/ported head/holley 350 2brl ect  so I'm really interested in this sort of thing.
