Hi i have a very nice 62 dart we have raced several years and won several races with. We did a complete rebuild about 2 years ago new tube chassie-paint inside and out- aluminum interior- new slicks- front runner-Gear-Axles etc... We ran the new car less than 75 passes and i got really sick 1 day i ended up going to the ER and staying there 52 days.Im unable to drive the car anymore because of health issues and hate for the car to sit in the garage and ruin so my family thinks i should pass it on while the tires motor etcc,, are fresh. My brother ran it at 2 mopar events last year- thats it its sitting on jack stands covered up.Its a very consistent safe car built to IHRA Rules-Tech It has a 4 link all strange mossier rear parts- we put coil overs on the front also to get rid of the torrision bars. All strong new parts. I have a ton of money and time and my life in this car its a really pretty car- all steel expet hood and bumpers and weughs 3050 LBS. Its painted to look nostalgic I made the original head-tail lights work-Left the factory dash even has orininal speaker grille-radio delete plate. In the 1/8 mile it runs 6.40s at 106-108 MPH I really want to race again in the next couple of years its hard to quit after winning 3 track championships. But it will have to be in a street leagl car- i cant drive a race car because of the medicine. So should i list it and sell it straight out then buy a 60s-70s Mopar street car or trade on a car.I would need to get around 28,000 Turn Key take it to the local track 3 miles from my hose. *I could use some advice on what to do or witch way to go* I dont no if i want to try EBAY or what. Thanks For Anyones Input My Email Is kiger@yadtel.net

Very sorry to here your health problems, I to was in a similar situation. My car sat for 16 yrs. do to my respiratory illness. Unable to run the 440 any more, fumes you can imagine in drag trim. I decided to put my 67 back to street trim and use it occasionally. Car now has a 360, runs 12.6's in a B-body, gets 18 mpg and is probably worth more now than when it was a drag only car. Won two events this yr. and actually beat an F.J. Smith Super Stocker in a bracket race, up here in Canada. Its your call but I can tell you I have no regrets making mine a driver again, its a blast to drive it to the track, still runs MODified and it still wins races, it is the best of both worlds.
