I've got a 99 Ram 2500 with a magnum V10 and a Paxton Novi 2000 that together produce around 450 horse. Since i bought the truck in feburary, I've been able to increase the boost from 8 to 11 pounds. This increase in power has caused my harmonic balancer to slip enough to cut a groove in my crank. So now I will be replacing the crank and having a key placed in the new crank to keep the harmonic balancer in place. While i've got the motor out of my truck, I was wondering how many performance parts are avalible and if any viper parts are interchangeable. I've heard good things about ceramic coated headers. Do you guys have any input on that as well?

Comp Cams has a few cams for this beast. They work well. No Viper parts are interchaingable with the Truck V10.
One thing you can do that makes a Huge difference in power is to have some head work done. A good port job will get you a ton of power. And if your running the stock T-body, get a bigger one or have the one you got bored out. Also the intake can benifit from from some porting and reworking of the runners.
These things can make some real power. But from the factory, they were built for one reason and that was low end torque. If you want the power, it has to breath at the higher RPM. Redline is very low and it should be around 6200rpm. Thats where the head work and cam come into play.
Im sure there are some aftermarket companies that have parts for these. Try Googling it.
