HELLO MOPAR gODS

HAVE A 1973 SATELLITE SEBRING , REBUILD 318 , BORED .30
SQUARED HEADS, KB PISTONS( OEM) .425 COMPCAM , STOCK RADIATOR, TRANSMISSION , 323 REAREND JUST GOT IT ON THE ROAD . OVERHEATING !

TOOK OUT THERMASTAT , EMPTIED THE RADIATOR OF COOLANT AND REFILLED WHILE RUNNING - APPEARS TO BE GOOD FLOW FROM RADIATOR INTO ENGINE AND ENGINE INTO RADIATOR JUST BY GROSS OBSERVATION .

LESS OF A PROBLEM  ALTHOUGH COOLING BETTER AT A CONSTANT LOW , LESS THAN 50 MPH THEN AT A STOP BEGINS TO GET WARMER AND WARMER AND WARMER BUT NOT OVERHEATING

ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED

Rad, is likely the problem, even though it appears to flow o.k. there is no way for you to determine if it is flowing properly other than taking it to a rad shop and having it flow tested. I would recommend installing a new or recore rad with an extra row of cooling tubes for some added insurance.
