I have an auto 318 73 scamp and want to convert to A833 4 speed...i am not a mechanic wan want to know if its worth it...The trany i found localy is a 4 speed out of a 70-71 duster for $300 with tail stock for A body....i need to buy a new clucth and flywheel...what else do I need...any input would be great guys, thanks!  

All depends on how bad ya wanna bang gears. you`ll need a pedal assembly, a body. all related linkage. z bar, all linkage. tunnel extension, they repro. these. floor needs cut out and this welded in. and drive shaft shortened, rebalanced. It was worth it to me.  burnout on demand!!!  plus the obvious shifter and rods.  good luck.  

I'll add to that new 727 style yoke for the trans end of the drive line & shifter & bell housing.
Like mohead said it is/was definitely worth it!
