Just a quick question to all you mopar guys, I have always run Champion plugs in my 340, they have always performed well and mopars like champions. If I'm not mistaken they used to be the factory plug years ago. My question is what does everyone else think, what are you running and why. I know they really are not the best plug, but would I really notice a difference for the extra money in a high end plug? Also what do you think about indexing the plugs.

I like the bosch platinums, be sure to get the right heat range for your engine, they last forever, I installed a set 4 yrs. ago in my 360 and they still look like new. I have also run them in a 440 yrs. ago with great results.

Bob the plug I use is for a 1971 340. I was told this is the plug to use in place of the Champion N9Y plug. Bosh part #BCH-4036, This is their reg. platinum plug, personally the service life has been excellent.

NGK,champion, autolite. they all work. They say ngk's read easier ,so they say that is. Right now I'm running autolite. really aint gonna make or break. Though in the 90's I had quite a few champions loose the insulator.
age is no lock on brillance
