I am rebuilding a 318 that has a 727 Torqueflight attached to it to send those horsie to the pavement. I just bought a new cam for the engine. Here are the specs for the cam:
· Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 292/292 · Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 230/230 · Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .480/.480 · LSA/ICL: 109/105 · Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd · RPM Range: 2000-5500
I was wondering if anyone could tell me what size of stall converter I would need to get so this engine doesnt fall on its face. I am not sure if I should get a 2400 or more stall or a 3500 or more stall. Please Help. If it helps this is not a race car I just am beefing it up so I can repave the street with rubber now and again.

Dynamic converter sells a street strip 9 1/2" and I can tell you they are amazing. I would get at least a 3500 stall.
