I need to put new push rods in my 318. I wanted to know what the stock size was for 318 push rods. I need to know the length and such so I can order new ones. I had the motor bored 30 over and the heads rebuilt. The heads were all rebuilt same as stock. Just plain old rockers not rollers. I bought a Bracket Master II cam for this engine. Here are the specs for the cam.
· Advertised Duration (Int/Exh): 292/292 · Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 230/230 · Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .480/.480 · LSA/ICL: 109/105 · Valve Lash (Int/Exh): Hyd/Hyd · RPM Range: 2000-5500
I just wanted to know if I can use stock size push rods for this engine now. I dont know what the stock size is for these engines so I woud need to know what they are and if I can use them due to having the new cam. I have been told by some I need different size rods and by some that I can use stock size standard rods. I just wanted to know what anyone else thought and especially what the stock/standard size/lenght 318 pushrods are. THe motor is actually an 83 out of a Chrysler New Yorker that I had rebuilt to put into my 72 Sebring. Thanks for any help.

Yes 318/340/360 LA motors with LA heads all use the same push rods. You can get them from Mancini racing part #MRE102 approx. $35.00 for the 16. These will work in your 1983 motor.
