Hi there guys,im wondering if anybody has upgraded a 440/375hp with a simple cam/exhaust and induction,i would like to get a bit of a lope at idle and increase power and torque,im happy to put a small hi stall but want to keep it practicle enough to take on a long drive, all sugestions considered, please specify specs or part numbers.I have a set of inch and 7/8 primary 4into 1 hookers to bolt on,also do i really need to upgrade intake manifold for  75 to 100 hp?.What are the factory carb cfm rating? This e body feels like it weighs 3 tons with factory specs, appreciate everybodys feedback, want to cam this up for now and build another block up so i dont bore or deck the original casts for future generations to enjoy her........cheers

440 street car, tough to beat the 284/484 mopar hydraulic.
Want this thing to get up and go add a performer intake along with a 750 d.p. holley with your headers you will get close to the 450hp. mark.
The factory carb was rated at 750 but it will not perform nearly as well as the holley double pumper.
Won't need alot of converter, 3000 stall 11" or for a little more get up and go a 10" 3500.
Good Luck.
