Will a pinion snubber help eliminate wheel hop and spinning on a leaf spring rear end?

It depends, and only if the tires are any good. that eliminates about most street tires. Also if your shocks are to short and bind the rear suspension you will get wheel hop. Measure the stationary position of the shock [car on the ground] and then take off a shock and measure the shocks full extension.

If you have a car get a set of shocks from a station wagon, heavy duty of course. They are a couple inchs longer. The pinion snubber will help with this shock set up. If your running a truck then find longer shocks, eg. 4x4 pickups have longer shocks and would likely have the same mounting points for the same yr. vehicle you are using. Also I use M&H wrinkle wall bias ply DOT tires on the street, they are amazing and they are treaded. If you are using radials the Mickey Thompson DOT drag radials are excellent, however they would not be very good in the rain.

You can buy Competition Engineering for less then $40 ea. and they are adjustable.
