have a six cyl. dart that i am putting a 440 in could sure use a V-8 k-member and disc brake set up,and a back bumper and tail lights also,i live in muskegon,mi. near grand rapids.........Ted

Just wanted to mention that Schumacher has conversion mounts to fit the 440 w/o having to change the K. You do have to notch the K a bit for oil pump clearance using the provided template and instructions.  

the V-8 K-member is a little stronger and if i can get one off a 340 car or 360 it will already have the large sway bar and the large torsion bar set up already,my six cyl. k-mem is all tweaked out of shape from a wreck anyway..............Ted  

tedster, The strength of the a body k member is the same weather 6 or v8.
All they did was position the passenger side mount/tower back & lower for the 6 and forward & high for v8. However, driver side is the same position between 6 & v8.

If there are holes on the front lip of the cross member then just bolt on an after market sway bar they will have the hard ware to bolt the shackle to the shock bolts or give u tabs to weld to the lower control arms.

I've never liked the way shumaker's adapters hang crooked off the mount towers.
