i have looked online and in our magazine and have found kits to switch the 318 motor mounts from my 318 equiped satellite to accomidate my 440, but i need some advice, i understand the stock k-frame is the same and will be able to handle the 440, but can the springs? will the ride height drop any?

what exactly needs to be done to drop the 440 in without a problem? and any inexpensive ideas will help since im putting almost $1000 of my hard earned money(part time just for building the car) just into the 440.

also i have the 904 transmission from the small block, but, can i get a big block bellhousing for it? if so where can i get one for under $100 other than a junkyard, and ebay doesnt have any except for $325.

thanks, any suggestions will help.

If your racing the slnt 6 T bars will help transfer weight better helping you to leave the line faster/plant the tires.
They won't be the greatest for going over big dips in the road/bottoming out the oil pan, more so if it's a deep sump.

If your not racing then go with the 340 bar, the .890 or even better for handling/cornering the .920 .
You will need to get a 727 for the big block, the bell's don't swap unless 4 spd.
