i just took my suspension apart to replace the 40 year old parts on my 69 dart. but the bushings in the lower control arms are kicking my butt. ive tried pressing them out but i cant get the shell to come out. i already have the rubber out. does anyone have some good advice that wont ruin my control arms?

Manciniracing.com has a lower control arm bushing sleeve remover for about forty bucks. Part number is MREAM23501. Hope this helps. I would call them to make sure this is what you need.

May I suggest that you cut through the shell with a hacksaw blade in two places that 180 degrees away from each other. Then drive out the shell halves with a caping chisel.
