Just a quick question on stainless braided lines.Whats a good way of cutting st.braided lines with-out gettin stitches? I do wrap em with tape before I cut them with a large cut off saw. It just seems like I get to the end of the cut, the hose flexes and the cut isnt straight, and I end up with a couple of frays in the braiding that cut the crap out of my fingers. Now i beleive as much as the next guy, that blood sweat and teers and a couple of ex-wives are as much a part of car build-ups but come on?

your best bet is to tape it and put the line inbetween to clamps so it never loses tension durring the cut. and tape it the whole way between the clamps to ensure it doesnt lose tension.

let me know if that works.

clamping it seems to help,I just plumbed in the fuel cell.I also took my step ladder and tacked a large washer to the metal on the sides that holds the wood together.I used my die-grinder with a cut-off wheel and cut real close to the washer. Also what are the regulations on fuel lines on the frame rails. They have to be on the outside of the tranz? If so how will this affect the heat from the exhaust?Ecspecially on fender well headers?Any thoughts? Anybody?
