hey all...
im rebuilding a '74 charger and want to rebuild the 318 thats in it. Was toying with the idea of putting a 360 crank in it for more HP but with all the choices surrounding crankshafts im now wondering if that would really be the best route?
would there really be a big difference between a 318 and 360 crank? what would a 4" stroke crank do for me (318 OR 360)? should i go with a forged piece or can i save the cash and use a cast piece? do i need any special machining on the block if i change to the 360?
im trying to build a car that i can use mainly as a daily driver... but will perform at the drag strip every now and then.
any help would be much appreciated. thanks all!

why dont you just try a 3/4 cam and elevated intake with a 600 of 750 edelbrock, itll give you alot of power without interchanging parts. although i know that the heads from the 360 to the 318 will give you some more horspower also and are interchangable
