i have a 68' Roadrunner and I am repainting the tail finish panel. I see they are all red and some people have told me to match the tail lights to the red color you paint the panel. Is there a color code or color name that anyone knows of for the correct color on that decor panel?

The red color is kind of a semi-gloss red, or matte. i'd look locally for a color that matches in a spray can, or you can check YearOne or the Paddock for the paint.

So just match the tail lights pretty much as close as I can.

yeah, the red goes in the upper and lower portion of the trim panel, just tape the area off and match it to where the tail lighs are at each end. The color doesn't need to match the lens' perfectly, just a semi-gloss red will work.
