67 Cuda, a 440 will definitely fit, but you'll have some work ahead of you to do it. You'll have to address the front suspension (i.e. torsion bars need upgraded), and if your Cuda has the stock 9-inch drum brakes, I wouldn't drive it on the street. You'll also need to address the cooling system. Does your Cuda have the 22-inch radiator opening? With a 440 in the car, you'll never be able to get a 22-inch radiator with enough cooling capacity. Headers will be another hurdle. TTI still makes an A-Body, under chassis, big block header, but it's only a 1-3/4-inch primary tube. If this isn't going to be a full-blown race car, they will work fine. If that primary tube is too small for your engine, you will probably have to use fender well headers--this means cutting. You may run into more issues as you do the install, but once you get finished, it'll be worth it.

Sometimes you just gotta say...

heck yes,and its simple, if its am original 273 car it should have the 4 piston kelsey hayes disc calipers up front.if its a v-8 car originally you dont need to upgrade from the small block torsion bar, even if its a 6 car torsion bars should still work decent.good frontend rise.yes, the cuda has ample enough room to use a big block radiator in it.I luv the fenderwells, looks racy. engine plate easiest way to go. first bigblock car I ever did was a 67 273 notchhback ,with the 4 piston calipers, an engine plate and fenderwell headers. its simple with the plate and no clearance issues other than milling the water pump housing for belt re alignment. I dont like the mount kit ,it makes the engine sit too low in the chassis and for performance its better the engine sitting higher in the chassis. yes ,your stock hood should still work, if its a 273 keep the steel crank and mech. rockers off the engine. cuttin the inner henderwells is a piece of cake, 8 3/4 rear, shortened B body drive shaft , and its there, if ya go this route lemme know its simple from start to finish.1 7/8 to 2 inch tubes and a 3.5 collector, hooker sc header.I know exactly what needs to be done and procedures for doing it right. lemme know if ya want help
