im working on a project And I plan on converting my fuel injected 5.9 into a carburated 408 stroker using the stock 5.9 motor. Unfortunately I’m not sure if the blocks are the same or can i just buy a dual plane intake. Can anyone help me out?

The intake you use depends more on the cylinder heads.

The magnum heads that came on your 5.9 work great on stroked small-blocks, but the intake bolts are different than early heads.

There are four-barrel intakes available for this application whether you use the magnum heads or earlier heads that will bolt right on.

Check Mancini racing for the intake when you're ready.
