I have a chery T/A and am looking to put the original # motor on a stand to "save". I am considering a crate 380hp magnum (found a 3000mile one for $2k) and was wondering if this would be a good way to go. I am curious as to if there is a 6pak intake available for the Magnum heads as I want the t/A to look fairly stock. The car is a 727 with 3k stall, 390 rear, headers. Or, do you guys have any better ideas?? Thanks!

Yea, buy a crate 408 w/single 4 and modify a[non original] 6 pak air cleaner to work on it. I say this cause I'm not sure about the 6 pak mag manifold being available. And cause I have heard bad things about the [slapped together] crate 380 magnums.

You have to watch when trying to mount an LA-style intake to magnum heads. If the heads have the Magnum-style intake bolt holes, you'll need an intake with the same. I don't know of anyone making a Magnum-style Six-Pack intake.
Sometimes you just gotta say...

You can have the six pack intake drilled out to fit the Mag. heads.
