I just purchased a 440 and 906 heads but nothing else, I am also planning on putting a six pack on it to bring it to an r/t status challenger what do I need to do to make this car at least 500 hp this is my first build and need all the help i can get

I highly recommend you pick up the book Big Block Mopar Performance by Chuck Senatore. There is a ton of information about building up your 440. I am new to the game and the book has a lot of good info on where to begin and how to get the most for the buck. You can pick it up for about 20 bucks.

I got a 600 plus hp .060 440 Ill sell ya complete for $6500 fresh, hi compression no boy toy here, has less than 20 passes on it,all the best parts, easily made street legal. have a 71 dart I need to sell also with 650 hp, beautiful car, also easily made street legal 10k, If needed I can make it streetable for around $1000 including exhaust and its a beast,22 passes,got a 67 barracuda coming in ,finishing a 74 duster within 2 months and need the garage space,want pix call me 772-807-9009 I build quality engines and cars, JBR

500 hp. no stroke required.if you did stroke I would use the 400 block instead of the 440

chucks a knuckle head,some decent info but vague and I already knew most of what his book explained and found his spelling and grammar to be quite poor. haha ,
