Any help would be appreciated... I'm replacing the bushings in my 68 charger lower control arm. I pressed out the old and pressed in the new bushing, but there seems to be some side to side play where the torsion bar connects. With the control arm reinstalled you can move the control arm side to side a bit. The new bearing pressed in fine to the piece that the torsion bar hex end goes into, and the front shaft pressed in fine to the bushing as well. But that whole assembly is a little loose where it goes through the control arm itself. Is there another replacable race piece that goes into the control arm itself that I missed? Jim

could be your old bushings were so bad they reamed out the holes?wrong bushings?not familiar with chargers but it also may have a metal bushing thru the lower control arm itself so if bushings go bad it wont wipeout the whole lower control arm that is giving you slop.Ill get back with ya a lil later as I have to go pick up the shorty.lemme know what you see.
