Do you have to move the steering column in order to pull the instrument cluster on a 1973 Satellite?  Can't seem to get the cluster out past the column.

road ,on A bodies you just lower the column, I would assuse its the same for B bodies,just take the ground wire off take off the 2 underside steering column nuts, gently take out the plastic inserts so you dont break them,remove another stud bolt on each side and its done, sorry, you probably already know this, sometimes I just get a lil too techie ,you will just need to lower it a lil so you may not have to take the stud bolts all the way out,I hope this helped ya in some way, shape or form,

to pull the cluster on my 71 satellite, i just drop the column onto the seat, then pop out the cluster
