Noisy Front Suspension

I have a 67 Cuda Convertible, and I suspect that most of the front suspension is original. Everytime I drive the car over a bump it sounds like the front suspension is going to fall off. I have seen in Mopar Muscle ads for suspension bushing kits, and control arms, and all kids of stuff from companies like Just Suspension, but I have no idea where to begin and what makes sense. Where should I begin with updating the suspension to make it safe and handle well. I would like to stay within $300~$350 to begin with now, and then do more as time/money permits.

I should add that this is a driver and it has a 273. I am not looking to create some monster drag strip machine or anything like that, and I am not concerned with ultimate concourse correct as this is not a numbers matching car either.

You'll like our latest project. Look in the July issue as we completely overhaul the suspension of our '67 Barracuda with "the works" kit from Just Suspension.

While this may be excessive for your needs, the article does outline common suspension mods for a driver.

yup, need to read that article and replace the whole front suspension and or bushings, shocks may be so old they bottom out on rubber mount which may not even be there, yes you keep driving this car with fixing it you could be in serious trouble in multiple situations.
