Recently purchased a 1969 Roadrunner, 2-Door HT. Inside the trunk there are steel cut-outs for two 6x9 speakers, however there is no provision in the rear window valance which should indicate some perforations to allow the sound to travel through. Did 69 Roadrunners come with rear speakers??
Thanks

You will simply need to get a "valance" or package tray from an aftermarket supplier that has the speaker provisions.
Sometimes you just gotta say...

I crawled into the trunk to find two steel cut-outs, one for a 6x9 the other for a 5x7, each going in opposite directions, must be some cruel 1969 audio sound engineering joke.

The 5x7 hole is for the rear window defogger option and the 6x9 hole was for a fader-controlled rear seat speaker possibly with a reverberation unit for "stereo effect" sound, The fader contron was mounted on the panel with the lights/wiper/flashers switches.
