Installing/removing doorbelt weatherstrips - VF 1969 valiant

Hi, just wondering if theres a specific way to remove old weatherstrips on the outside of the doors (sedan) other than just ripping till they snap so I can put new ones on?

You can gently remove them by taking off the door panel, and then using a needle-nose pliers, pinch the clip holding the weatherstrip in place on the inside of the door and push it out. Around the top of the window frame may be glued on, in which case, ain't much hope for saving it.
