Where can I get replacement, stock style leaf spring front hangers for a 1966 Charger? These have the pressed in studs and eye bolt for OEM springs. Mopar only has the longer ones for super stock springs.

the ss do have 20" fronts thats why you have to buy the longer hangers.

just use the longer hangers. ss springs are great and you can buy them at most given weights for firm or softer ride. they do tend to raise the rear a lil but if you need to plant rear tires the ss springs and snubber are the way to go.

I dont need to read the pros and cons.Ive used these springs on street car and also 9.40 1/4 mile cars with no troubles.I mean why would you consider ss springs anyhow? I presumed it was for better performance and apologize.

if i can read this thread correctly 66charger asked a question and has recieved several answers. my reply by no means was a suggestion to you but to 66charger as to changing from what he seems to have(stock springs)to the ss springs. you have them and like them, i get that. i too just installed the ss springs on my 70 roadrunner and the ride is completly different from stock. depends on what he wants.
