Wow, That's an awful large transmission to fit into an older Chrysler. I'm afraid you may have to do some unwanted cutting for it to fit. Is there a reason you want to use the 545? It's decent transmission, but there are easier units to install.

Why not use a 727 or other small block transmission?

If you are certain that you want the 545, contact; sharadon Performance.

Denny has been actively rebuilding an modifying the 545 for a while, and will really be able to help.

well i dont mind the cutting of the tunnel if it was one of my valiants probly not but its a chrysler centura there a chrysler/simca 1800 just with a differant nose looks a bit like a plymouth cricket

its 1250kg runs coils all round std front has struts comes with an aussie hemi 6 std or a 2L version of the simca motor

im building it up to be custom  so i dont  mind and its not outside my skills

i had a look and did a few messurements it will be fairly close to fitting this car then i did some messurements on one of my valiants and it would need alot of floor work

the centura has alot bigger trans tunnel  also looks like if i do have to modify it, it wouldnt be a noticeable ammount
