ON MY BROTHERS 67 CORONET HIS FRONT TIRES HAVE ALWAYS LEANED IN AT THE TOP SLIGHTLY AND HE HAS NEVER DONE ANYTHING WITH IT. I HAVE A 70 ROADRUNNER THAT JUST RECENTLY I NOTICED THAT IM STARTING TO GET THE SAME PROBLEM. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHAT CAUSES THIS. I CHECKED MY BALL JOINT AND THERE SEEMS TO BE NO PLAY. COULD IT BE THE TORSION BARS GOING BAD? ANY HELP I AM GREATFULL FOR.

possibly too much toe out on the front end also but I think your on the money 340 iiIii heh... probably the upper, mancini has the removal installation tool for the job, dont beat them in and bend the control arms haha also your bushings may be good but the inner rod insert thru control arms may have too much tolerance so replace these as well .

I'm having the same problem on my 68 Charger after replacing all front end parts last week.  I replaced Upper/lower control arm bushings, strut bushings, upper/lower ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar bushings, idler arm, pitman arm etc.  Now I'm not sure how to get the camber adjustment right.  When I back up, the wheels straighten themselves out, when I drive forward the camber leans in on both wheels.  I think it is the camber and toe adjustment, but I'm not sure how to do it.

if ya used the correct parts on the front end set the ride height and take it in for an alignment, haynes manual will have the proper specs for your application, you the same guy I gave the hollander #s to?

Ride height is the first thing that needs to be set. Understand though, what looks good and what is correct for the car are two different things.  The crappy thing about torsion bars is they are so easy to adjust, but often result in a lot of camber change.  Stock adjustment cams on control arms are usually designed to make camber/caster corrections to vehicles set to factory ride height or "close to it" not slammed cars.  Also, when you adjust ride ht. with torsion bars, the resulting camber change will also change toe in/out and could chew a set of tires up pretty quick.

68- your back and forth issue with camber change sounds to be caused by one of two things- loose parts, or the weight distribution from the vehicle in motion.  Let us know what you find.
