Guys, I know many of you guys have questions and or comments about the magazine, let's hear 'em.

Should we do more of something, less of something, maybe you think we do ok. Maybe you have a question about one of our project cars, or a product we've tried. ask us, we'll answer as best we can.

How about mixing it up more and shifting a little more focus toward modern Mopar Muscle cars? There are a lot of Charger, Magnum, 300 and Neon enthusiasts looking for a magazine that covers our cars.

How about the late 70's b-bodies and more weekend driveway projects. The tech. stuff is great but the "heres a blank check build my car i dont care what it cost" stuff should be limited to one article per issue if possible. Also when doing a "do it yourself article try to give an MSRP and not "we had this on the shelf from a swap meet we attended 20 years ago"

Agreed, I own a solid '79 Magnum, first Mopar I've owned. The 318 is a little weak and was thinking of going with a modern 5.9 and trans from the ram line for more power and dependable, serviceable motivation. Wonder what its going to take. Would also like to see info on interiors

I would like to see more on the Foward Look cars from '57-'60..Hot rodded and stock restored...BTW: Randy, I walked right by you at Carlise this year, but you looked like you were EXTREMELY busy so, I didn't "Bother" you...You had some other guy there with you..(Carying camera)...There were no less than 15 F. Look cars there this year..I'm a memeber of the CCC..(Christine Car Club), and would love to get a plug in the mag. for the "Guys"....We have memeber's from Finland, Sweden, Netherlands, England, ETC. We'll probably be at Carlisle next year ('08), for the "Christine/Tulsa" reunion....LOTS of Christine's there...

I'm glad you guys could take the time to chime in, If I don't get any feed back from anyone, it's hard to know what you guys want to read.

Ice, Our focus always has been classic muscle cars, but we have been trying to place some attention on the late model stuff. It's hard to find aftermarket manufacturers doing much more than exhaust and cold air kits. We do have some stuff in the pipeline with superchargers and programmers, so stay tuned.

rcannon1, If you've ever met Dave Young and myself, you will realize that we are far from the blank-check crowd. We both focus on building our cars in our home garages and driveways, so we really are the done it in my driveway kind of guys. Sure, we will continue to show how some of the top shops acroos the country do things, that's how the rest of learn what can be done. As far as the Late-70s stuff, Dave is currently working on his 71 Road Runner, and I am working with my daughter on her 73 Charger, so again, stay tuned.

Dukeboy, please don't ever be afraid to grab me by the arm, and talk to me, I may not be as busy as I look--that's how I get to meet people. Anyway, I know we have overlooked the Forward Look stuff, but that's a matter of reader input. Sure, I do have a couple of features on hand to use, but please realize that we can't focus on those cars. I'll see what I can do about getting the features we have with Forward Look cars in the loop.

keep rockin with the old mopars.even though i own a newer hemi ram i don't want to see any newer "stuff" in the magazine until these vehicles come of age.there are enough magazines out there for people with newer mopars that you don't need it. i love the old school. keep the faith.

How about stories on the average guys garage and his pile of project cars. Or coverage of a regular guy building his car, racing it, and seeing what happens. Maybe an issue that lists clubs reginally.

She wanted the real thing. So I gave it to her.

Come on guys, help me out, tell Randy you want more DRAG RACE tech!

As far as including prices in the articles, we get asked that a lot. The problem is that our suppliers change their prices regularly so we'd rather you just call them for the latest prices.

And for the record, I still have, and use, parts I got at a swap meet 20 years ago!

As far as new and different tech, look for some upcoming tech on the '71 Road Runner I'm doing as well as some upgrades to the 440 powered '66 Coronet station wagon that I drive regularly. We'll also visit the D-series trucks in future issues as I just scored a deal on a basket case '79 Little Red Express.

We try give you guys as much variety as we can, but sometimes we're limited to the projects we have in our garages and the budgets our salaries will allow (look for more Slant-Six Aspen tech, HA!)

Anyway, keep the ideas coming.

Anyone want to see blown alcohol Hemi drag tech?????

Blown alcohol HEMI? Most of us in the world of "Money challenged" would do what we normally would do at the car show...Let the croud drool and look at the low buck, back yard cars...Something we can all relate too...I know when I see these high dollar HEMI cars, it just reminds me of how I will NEVER be able to step up to that level of play...I'm more concerned with the guy with the A-body down in the pit's at the drag strip, that just went 6.teens with an IRON headed 440...I want to talk to that guy..He did it with ALL factory parts..NOT some over the top HEMI, with huge money in it..Yeah, drag tech. is good, but if we can't afford the parts that cost big bucks, then it's kinda a mute point...I mean, let's see some drag tech. on the little guys racing in the 11's,10's,even 9's with ALL factory part's..Maybe a stoker motor, but NOT some high dollar ($30,000), engine, but some home brewed $4000 stoker...I've got an A-Body with a 440 727 8 3/4..This car has IRON heads and the trans is STOCK right out of a car I junked, with 3.91 gears...It has run a best of 6.90's with a 180 H.P. shot of nitrous, and the car has just over $10,000 IN THE WHOLE CAR, NOT just the engine...This is not the fastest you'll ever see, but I can say it's prolly the fastest you'll see for that kind of money....This is where the people that read your mag. are coming from...Poor folks going fast...Not rich guys and their HEMI'S....Lot's of folks are right where I am on this...They would LOVE to own a HEMI, but it's a 440 in that B-Body, cause the HEMI is too much money..For the cost of the new HEMI, ($20,000), you could get one helluva stroker 440 from Indy....If I have to pull the master cylinder off my car to get the valve cover's off, then it better be makin' more than 1000 H.P., and run in the 8's in the 1/4 mile!
It would also be good if you would print the prices for the stroker engines you build Like the stroker poly 402...This would give the reader's an idea of how much doing one of these costs..ALOT of the Foward Look people on the site want to know about this build, but when they talk to their machine shop, they are hit in the face with huge machine shop fee's and parts prices...A little heads up would be good...I already have a good idea how much those engine's would cost, but the average guy may not, and when he checks he's in for a surprize......

Keep the old cars out in front. Some of us need all the tech help we can get. I'm redoing a 72 Dart, and enjoy reading the things that make it easier for me. I also have my 12 year old grandaughter out there with me learning, and its easier toteach her the basics if I have photos and tech from then
Keep up the good work

Seriously guys, Dave hit the nail on the head. We're very limited here with what we can do, but we will do the best we can with what we have available.

I think your mag. is ok,i sub.to all the mopar mags.and think the new one M.E.is the best out there now.ya was the best around a few years ago.I think ya show to much mordern mopar stuff, I think thats hurting you,And i rather read a feature on a car where the onwer done most of the work, who cares if it's not perfect, most of your feature cars the onwer hired all the work out,he probley can't change oil,and don't even read you tech artcs.i did all the work on my car motor, frontend, rear, but my son painted it,i say feature some of your real readers cars, the ones who read your tech and use it,not there bankaccount, seems like all mags cater to the rich get fed by the poor, just my 2 cents
