I have a 71 dart that i am restoring and i have a 72 that has a good dash and the one im restoring isnt so hot. My question would the dash from the 72 1. Be correct as far as the difference in the instrument panel 71 has the longer rectangle while 72 has more shorter rectangle 2. does it have all the same wiring setup?
Im a young mopar muscle addict and would greatly aprreciate any help.  

Physically, you can bolt the 72 dash in your 71, and the wiring should be the same.  

Just verify that the cars are optioned the same, and the wiring should be fine. This should be an easy swap.  

hello, im new here and think you guys are great. I could sure use some help. I want to replace my guage panel on my 74 duster,I have a new cluster from an older model ,looks like a 71.appears to have a square alt. guage. the only difference I see is the current one im using has a condenser mounted to some sort of relay while the older one does not have this condenser but does have a hole predrilled for this condenser.The older guage panel supposedly works great.can I use this panel?the leads are the same and but there seems to be 2 double nuts on the older unit that I have no idea went to them while the newer one does not have this.Should I use the old relay and condenser with this older unit as the other relay has no provision for the condenser to plug in. I also have a hot yellow wire hanging but taped and have no idea where this goes. also I forgot 1 male post on the dash harness is a lil shorter than the others, never see your mag on newsstands before so will subscribe soon to it .hard times everywhere it seems at the moment .Can anyone help?
