WILL A BIG BLOCK K FRAME FROM A 70 CHALLENGER WORK IN MY 62 SAVOY AS LONG AS I USE 7O BIG BLOCK MOTOR MOUNTS.

Although I have not done this yet, I have been told by a number of people who should know that it works fine, and also allows the use of later 60s headers in the early B bodies. The engine will move back closer to the firewall. Jerry

If you make this change in your car the original big block motor mounts will not work and the car will no longer represent a factory max wedge as well, although you should be able to do it. I also have a 62 plymouth savoy max wedge clone and I am putting a 1962 v8 K member in so I can also use the original motor mount system. I am doing this in hopes of manitaining a more original looking setup.
